Request a copy of your data
Email hey@savewalter.com from the address linked to your Walter account with the subject "Data export". We will send you a machine-readable copy of your account information and library content.
Correct your information
You can edit your profile and the details of saved items in the Walter app. If something cannot be corrected in the app, email us and we will correct it for you.
Delete individual saves
Open the item in your Walter library and delete it. Deleted items are removed from your library and from our systems on our normal deletion cycle.
Delete your account and Walter data
Where in-app deletion is available, it is in the Walter app under Settings → Account and data → Delete account.
If you cannot find it in your version of the app, email hey@savewalter.com from your account address and ask us to delete your account. This is a fully functional route: we will delete your account, library and connected-account credentials and confirm when it is done.
Disconnect a connected service
In the Walter app, go to Settings → Connected accounts and choose Disconnect next to the service. Disconnecting removes the stored authorization and stops Walter from making further requests to that service.
TikTok
Disconnecting TikTok in Walter stops Walter from making any future authorized data portability requests on your behalf. Content already imported into your library stays until you delete it — you can remove individual items, or ask us to delete your account and all of its data.
You can also review and revoke Walter's authorization directly in your TikTok account settings, where TikTok makes that option available.
Contact and timing
All requests: hey@savewalter.com
We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request, usually by confirming that the request comes from the email address on the account. Requests covered by the GDPR are handled within the period required by law — normally within one month.
